Nvidia announced at its annual developer conference that it anticipates combined orders for its Blackwell and Vera Rubin technologies to reach $1 trillion by 2027, marking a substantial increase from last year’s projection. The company highlighted growing demand for its products from both large enterprises and emerging startups, providing a bullish outlook for investors; Nvidia’s shares advanced by roughly 1.6% on Monday.
During the GTC 2026 conference, CEO Jensen Huang highlighted Nvidia’s optimism regarding future growth, underlining the rising appetite for next-generation chip technologies across the industry. This follows comments from chief financial officer Colette Kress, who recently indicated that revenue growth for the current year would likely surpass previous estimates of $500 billion in combined opportunities for Blackwell and Vera Rubin.
The event’s focal point was the launch of the Vera Rubin GPU architecture, equipped with 336 billion transistors and the first implementation of HBM4 memory technology. Additionally, Nvidia presented the Vera CPU, an ARM-based processor tailored for applications involving autonomous artificial intelligence agents.
Nvidia also revealed NeMo Claw, an enterprise-grade stack designed to facilitate the construction of advanced AI agents using the OpenClaw framework. The solution incorporates tools for improved security and privacy, including policy and network safeguards, to enable safer integration and use of files and digital actions within organizational environments.
Further demonstrations at the conference showcased advancements in computer graphics, particularly with artificial intelligence, allowing for the generation of lifelike video experiences. The company previewed DLSS 5, a real-time neural rendering technology that utilizes AI-driven upscaling to deliver cinematic visuals in gaming. Nvidia says DLSS 5 can interpret key scene elements from a single frame and produce enhanced images with heightened realism, capturing intricate details such as translucent skin and environment lighting.
DLSS 5 is scheduled for release in the fall and will be incorporated by several major developers, including Bethesda, Capcom, Ubisoft, and Warner Bros. Games.
