KH Academy has held the closing ceremony for the 5th Prep for Fund Manager course, awarding certificates and a THB 50,000 scholarship to the winning team of the investment portfolio management workshop. The management expressed satisfaction with the program’s achievements and the overwhelming positive response, affirming their ongoing mission to nurture quality professionals for the Thai capital market. The 6th session is set to open this August.
Mr. Chanchai Sanguanwong, Director of the Kaohoon Turakij Group, presided over the closing ceremony of the Prep for Fund Manager course (5th batch), held on April 9, 2026, at KH Academy Ratchathewi Campus. He presented certificates to the 40 students from eight universities: Chulalongkorn University, Thammasat University, Kasetsart University, Srinakharinwirot University, Mahidol University, Prince of Songkla University, Bangkok University, and Ramkhamhaeng University. In his speech, Mr. Chanchai emphasized the importance of utilizing knowledge and experience gained from industry experts in Thailand’s capital market to benefit their future endeavors.
“Firstly, congratulations to every student for your perseverance and dedication to completing this course. Today’s success marks a promising beginning, equipping you to apply this knowledge and experience both academically and professionally as you pursue careers in finance and investment. Additionally, I hope that the students who completed KH Academy’s programs, despite coming from various institutions and faculties, will continue to build friendships and networks. This community will foster collaborations beneficial to the nation’s development and societal progress in the future,” stated the Director of Kaohoon Turakij Group.

A highlight of the ceremony was the announcement of the winning team in the investment portfolio management workshop, competing for a single team scholarship of THB 50,000 among eight teams (Teams A–H). Each team was mentored by experienced fund managers and analysts from Thailand’s capital market. The teams developed and presented systematic strategic portfolio management plans for a fund worth THB 1 billion, covering financial statement analysis, industry trends, macroeconomic factors, as well as balancing risk and returns. The strategies also integrated ESG concepts (Environmental, Social, and Governance), combined with creative and feasible approaches in real markets, impressing the distinguished panel of judges.

The winning team, Team F, mentored by Ms. Rinrada Narakornpijit, Assistant Fund Manager, Kasikorn Asset Management Co., Ltd. (KAsset), comprised Mr. Patipan Opaspongpipat (Faculty of Commerce and Accountancy, 4th Year, Chulalongkorn University), Ms. Kanyanat Koohathongsamrit (Faculty of Commerce and Accountancy, 2nd Year, Thammasat University), Ms. Hataichanok Ganjananonth (Faculty of Business Administration for Society, 3rd Year, Srinakharinwirot University), Mr. Thansit Thanaphatkesaemchai (Faculty of Business Administration for Society, 2nd Year, Srinakharinwirot University), and Ms. Pasinee Boonsiri (Faculty of Business Administration for Society, 2nd Year, Srinakharinwirot University). Ms. Wanwisa Punosoth, Co-Founder and Director of Partner Relations at KH Academy, presented the awards.
The 5th batch of the Prep for Fund Manager course provided 12 classes over more than one month, combining both theoretical and practical knowledge. Students developed skills with expert instructors from the fund management profession, including Kasikorn Asset Management (KAsset), TISCO Securities, Metha Asset Management, GABLE Public Company Limited, the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Mahidol University International College (MUIC), and Thammasat Business School. The program aimed to cultivate knowledge, and enhance both hard skills and soft skills, providing practical experience for students to further develop academically and professionally.
The closing ceremony of the Prep for Fund Manager (5th batch) highlights the success of the Preparatory Programs series, targeting 2nd–4th year university students to broaden perspectives, establish core thinking and practices, and prepare for professional careers. There are three courses: 1) Prep for Financial Advisor, 2) Prep for Investment Analyst, and 3) Prep for Fund Manager, with two batches each year. The programs have received support from leading companies in the securities, asset management, and financial advisory sectors, providing expert trainers and mentorship. KH Academy will continue this mission to nurture talent for Thailand’s financial and capital markets, with all three courses opening for their 6th session in August 2026.
