Saroche Arunpairojkul, Executive Vice President – Industrial Customer Relations and Operation Management at B.Grimm Power Public Company Limited (SET: BGRIM), revealed that Amata B.Grimm Power 5 has signed an 11.98 megawatt-peak (MWp) floating solar project contract with Siam Toyota Manufacturing Co., Ltd (STM).
Previously, STM expressed interest in clean energy and entered into a green energy purchase agreement with Amata B.Grimm Power 5 on November 28, 2025, to fulfill the factory’s green energy demand. However, with a commitment to maximize clean energy usage, STM decided to increase its power purchase from the Floating Solar project to 11.98 MWp, formalizing this in an addendum signed on April 29, 2026. Commercial operation date (COD) of electricity trading is scheduled for May 5, 2026.
This collaboration not only reinforces the strong relationship between the two companies but also sets a precedent for driving renewable energy use within Thailand’s industrial sector, aligning with national energy policy and development direction.
Amata B.Grimm Power 5 Limited is a subsidiary of BGRIM, one of Thailand’s largest private power producers, focusing on the development and operation of renewable and cogeneration plants to sustainably support industrial and community energy needs.
Siam Toyota Manufacturing, a subsidiary of Toyota Motor Corporation, a leading global automaker, is committed to producing quality, environmentally friendly vehicles while operating with social and environmental responsibility, aiming to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and achieve carbon neutrality.
This collaboration also meets B.Grimm Power’s long-term plan to become a leader in the renewable energy business and one of the world’s top energy producers, targeting net-zero carbon emissions by 2050 and achieving a production capacity of 10,000 megawatts by 2030.
