AIS (SET: ADVANC) discloses operating performance for Q1 2026, reaffirming its commitment to driving sustainable growth as a leader in intelligent infrastructure and digital technology for Thais. The company reported total revenue of 58,197 million baht and a net profit of 13,496 million baht. This performance was driven by its focus on product quality and delivering digital experiences that meet the needs of all customer segments, amid challenges from uncertainty economic conditions both domestically and internationally.
In 2026, AIS is focused on adapting to changes across all dimensions while strengthening Thailand’s digital infrastructure, covering intelligent mobile networks, fixed broadband, cloud, and data centers. At the same time, the company continues to leverage innovation and AI to enhance customer experience and drive ongoing industry transformation. Key initiatives include the launch of a new connectivity standard, “AIS 5G-ADVANCED,” the first in Southeast Asia, upgrading mobile networks to be smarter and faster to support the AI era; the AISpace platform, a hub of AI services for Thais; and the promotion of digital skills through the development of the “Aunjai Cyber AI Literacy” program to create sustainable value for all sectors.
In addition, AIS is expanding its long-term growth through new businesses, including retail, content platforms for entertainment and sports, and digital financial services, while maintaining effective cost management. As a result, the company has been able to sustain its performance in the first quarter in line with its guidance.
Mobile Business: Growth driven by a high-quality customer base on a nationwide intelligent 5G network.
The total subscriber base reached 46.9 million, increasing by 170,200 from Q4 2025. This growth was supported by a focus on high-quality customers, expansion in the SIM solutions segment, and effective churn management, all on a 5G network covering over 95% of the Thai population nationwide. The number of 5G users rose to 18.5 million, an increase of 643,100 from Q4 2025. As a result, mobile service revenue grew by 7.6% Year-on-Year, reinforcing its leadership in quality within the telecommunications industry.
Fixed Broadband Business: Reinforcing leadership in broadband through innovative home internet services and superior digital experiences.
AIS 3BB FIBRE3 fixed broadband subscribers increased by 63,400 from Q4 2025, bringing the total to 5.3 million users. This growth reflects strong customer confidence in network quality and digital services that enhance household experiences. Key offerings include high-speed packages such as Super FAST and Home FibreLAN, alongside strong entertainment and sports content including the English Premier League (EPL), Thai League, Bundesliga, NBA, and NFL. As a result, fixed broadband revenue grew by 8.7% Year-on-Year, reinforcing AIS’s strong leadership in the fixed broadband market.
Enterprise Business: Transforming Thai enterprises through digital infrastructure and intelligent solutions that support all forms of connectivity.
Amid the economic volatility, Enterprise revenue grew by 1.7% Year-on-Year, driven mainly by enterprise data networks, 5G solutions, and data center services, which collectively address the growing needs of Thai enterprises. These capabilities also support the country’s development toward becoming a Sustainable Nation through comprehensive digital infrastructure that enables investment, global technology expansion, and the future growth of the AI industry.
New Business Investments: Building new growth engines to extend digital value and create new experiences that meet every lifestyle need.
AIS continues to invest in new businesses to drive future growth and continuously enhance value for customers. This includes the retail business, which offers new digital lifestyle products, including LINK UP high-quality accessories designed to support diverse lifestyles, pet tracking devices for pet lovers, and new gadgets developed through partnerships aligned with evolving digital consumer trends. In parallel, AIS is expanding its entertainment business, recently partnering on a new content format called “Verticaltainment” to deliver vertical series experiences that match evolving digital viewing behaviors and create new long-term growth opportunities.
For this year, AIS continues to invest under a capital expenditure of approximately 30,000–35,000 million baht to enhance customer experience across all dimensions. This includes the development of its 5G network, the expansion of high-speed fixed broadband services, and the advancement of connectivity solutions for enterprise customers. In addition, AIS is collaborating with global partners to drive the development of an AI ecosystem, laying the foundation for a secure digital ecosystem that supports the sustainable growth of Thailand’s digital economy.
