MINT Outlines Operational Direction and Growth Strategy at Hong Kong Roadshow

Chaiyapat Paitoon, Chief Financial Officer of Minor International Public Company Limited (SET: MINT), revealed to “Kaohoon” that during the recent roadshow in Hong Kong, the company has presented key information on its medium-to-long term operational direction and growth strategy, including:

1) Emphasizing continuous deleveraging, with the planned REIT IPO in the second half of 2026 serving as a crucial factor to strengthen the balance sheet.

2) Affirming a capital expenditure (CAPEX) plan of THB 15 billion for 2026 – 2027 to maintain asset competitiveness through value-added improvements, and supporting RevPAR growth via long-term increases in ADR.

3) Short-term operating trend: the European business remains the main driver due to robust intra-regional travel demand and limited impact from the Middle East situation, while forward bookings continue to see steady growth.

4) Progress in expanding the hotel business: the company has already signed management contracts for 30 new hotels in 1Q26, out of a yearly target of over 50, reflecting potential for better-than-expected performances.

5) Perspective on expanding business in the Middle East.

Chaiyapat further stated that participating in this event and meeting with global institutional investors has benefited the company in several ways:

1) Increasing awareness and understanding among foreign investors of the company’s strategy and growth potential, as well as providing opportunities to receive insights and suggestions from global investors for refining the company’s strategies and capital market communications.

2) Building confidence in the company’s balance sheet management and capital allocation plans, which are key investor concerns.

3) Expanding the foreign institutional investors base, thereby increasing access to funding sources in the future.

4) Enhancing the company’s image as an international hotel operator with consistent growth and financial discipline.

Participation in the roadshow is an important opportunity to reinforce investor confidence in the company’s long-term growth potential and its ability to sustainably add value for shareholders.
