Brokers project neutral outlooks for the Thai stock market on Monday amid heightened geopolitical tensions. Investors continue to monitor listed companies’ 3Q26 earnings reports, particularly from the technology sector.
Krungthai XSpring Securities expects the Thai benchmark to trade sideways-down, tracking weakness in overseas markets as concerns over Middle East tensions intensify. The brokerage pointed to the possibility of another U.S. strike on Iran as a factor driving crude prices higher.
Nevertheless, the analyst remarked that the move may benefit domestic energy counters, helping limit broader market losses, though persistent selling in technology-related stocks remains a drag.
The analyst set a resistance level for the SET Index at 1,580 points, and a support level at 1,540 points.
Daol Securities separately projected the Thai bourse’s weekly trading range with a support level at 1,510 – 1,536 points and a resistance level at 1,570–1,580 points. The firm said investor attention is likely to center on earnings releases and business guidance from technology companies.
Those updates may lead investors to reassess credit risks, particularly amid concerns over heavy capital spending and elevated debt levels in the sector. The analyst highlighted Neocloud companies as a major area of focus.
Market participants are also watching upcoming central bank meetings. Daol expects policymakers to leave interest rates unchanged while they evaluate conditions, with inflation expectations becoming a key issue after oil prices resumed their upward move.
Last Thursday, Thailand’s SET Index closed at 1,562.67 points, increasing by 6.58 points or 0.42%, with a trading value of THB 67.15 billion.
