Guided by its promise of “Cheevit Dee Dee Tee Lueak Eng Dai” and its deep understanding of customers, AP Thailand, led by Mr. Kittichet Sathitnoppachai, Chief Corporate and Digital Marketing, has joined the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration’s Environment Department in supporting the “Sharing Chairs” project.
Ms. Pajariya Mahakanjana, Deputy Director-General Environment Department, represented the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration at the handover of the project along the waterfront at Benjakitti Park. The project creates small spaces where people can pause, clear their minds, take in the view and recharge during the day. It is another way in which AP continues to deliver on its promise of enabling everyone to experience “Cheevit Dee Dee Tee Lueak Eng Dai” in every moment of life.
The initiative reflects AP’s belief that understanding people’s lives begins with recognizing the small details of everyday experience: from the rush and exhaustion of city life to the emotions people feel at different moments, and the need for spaces that allow them to step away from the city’s pace, even for just a little while.

Blending harmoniously into the natural waterfront surroundings of Benjakitti Park, a green retreat in the heart of Bangkok, the “Sharing Chairs” represent small gestures of care. Each chair features a thoughtful message on its back, designed to offer encouragement and provide a moment of emotional comfort during the day, including:
- “A Moment to Pause” and “Pause Life Just for a Moment” for the days when everything seems to be moving too quickly.
- “Take a Break, Then Carry on” and “Chill Out for a Bit, Then Continue Your Journey”, offering quiet encouragement before they continue with their day.
- “Urban Recharge Spot” and “A Small Corner of Kindness in the Big City”, creating a welcoming space in which people can sit, unwind and let their minds wander.
- “This View Beats Your Screen” and “Give Your Eyes a Rest”, inviting people to look up from their screens and take in “The City Ahead, the Calm Within”, discovering a moment of relaxation in which they “Own the Moment”.
This collaborative project with the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration is not about creating something monumental. Rather, it comes from a small but meaningful intention to help make public spaces more caring towards urban residents. By transforming the waterfront at Benjakitti Park into a fulfilling corner, AP hopes the space will help ease the exhaustion of passers-by. AP has always believed that good living quality is not limited to our homes but can also be found along the way—enabling everyone to experience “Cheevit Dee Dee Tee Lueak Eng Dai” in every moment of life.
