AIS, GULF and JAS Kick Off Transformative Partnership with Thai Football Association for Nationwide Broadcast Coverage

Advanced Info Service, Gulf Development, Jasmine International and the Thai Football Association have officially announced their partnership in supporting Thai League and bringing national sports to all accessible devices.

Mrs. Nualphan Lamsam, President of the Football Association of Thailand, revealed that Gulf Development Public Company Limited (SET: GULF), Advanced Info Service Public Company Limited (SET: ADVANC or AIS), and Jasmine International Public Company Limited (SET: JAS) have jointly announced a significant partnership with the Football Association of Thailand to broadcast live coverage of the “Thai League” for a period of four seasons, from 2025/26 to 2028/29, with an option for an additional two seasons based on performance review.

This will mark the first time that live broadcasts will cover all tiers of national football leagues in Thailand, including Thai League 1, Thai League 2, Thai League 3, FA Cup, and League Cup, as well as youth leagues (U-21), and Women’s League 1 and 2. These matches will be broadcast using cutting-edge technology and high-definition visuals, aiming to raise the viewing experience to a new national standard.

This move represents a crucial step in revitalizing the value of the Thai League, which has gone two years without an official live broadcast rights holder. It is also the first time that comprehensive live coverage will be provided for all levels—aligning with the association’s mission to pursue well-rounded development and elevate both broadcast and competition quality. These efforts also include increasing foreign player quotas, funding and utilizing VAR Crosshair 3D technology, making the Thai League the only one in ASEAN to employ such advanced tools.

Mr. Sarath Ratanavadi, CEO of GULF, stated that GULF has been a strong supporter of Thai football for over a decade. This collaboration emerges from a commitment to propel Thai football onto the global stage, across both national and club levels. GULF plans to coordinate with the English Football Association to establish a football academy in Thailand and enhance the live broadcast network, including reaching remote areas via Thaicom satellite. The goal is to extend comprehensive viewership access to every Thai household.

Mr. Somchai Lertsutiwong, CEO of AIS, said this collaboration is a major milestone for Thai football. AIS will leverage its digital technology strengths to offer a seamless viewing experience via mobile and high-quality home internet. AIS PLAY will serve as the primary platform for watching every Thai League match.

Dr. Soraj Asavaprapha, CEO of JAS, noted that after broadcasting the English Premier League and FA Cup for six seasons, JAS’ participation in this partnership is driven by a deep commitment to advancing Thai football, alongside partners GULF and AIS. The focus will be on developing three core areas: players, coaches, and referees, in collaboration with the Premier League. Matches will be distributed through MONO29 and MONO MAX to ensure fans have legal access to the content.

Additionally, the CEO added that subscribers for the Premier League will be able to watch all Thai League games without additional fee. Still, the package price for the Premier League will require further discussion with partners before an official announcement.
