National Telecom Public Company Limited (NT) has partnered with Telehouse Thailand, a renowned global provider of data center colocation services, to deliver high-capacity international data transmission via submarine cable systems.
The connection links NT’s Sriracha Cable Landing Station directly to the Telehouse Bangkok facility, which is now fully operational. This initiative significantly enhances Thailand’s telecommunications backbone, supporting the country’s digital transformation across both public and private sectors.
This partnership marks a major milestone in advancing the Thai government’s vision of establishing the country as an ASEAN Digital Hub. Through the direct integration of NT’s international submarine cable network at Sriracha, Telehouse Thailand will offer domestic content providers and ISPs from neighboring countries seamless access to the Asia Direct Cable (ADC) and Asia America Gateway (AAG) systems.
The ADC network connects seven countries: China, Hong Kong, Japan, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam—many of which host data centers for major cloud and content providers. Meanwhile, the AAG network extends connectivity from Asia to the United States.
Additionally, NT’s domestic submarine cable system provides alternative routing via Thailand’s Gulf coast to NT’s international cable landing stations in Songkhla and Satun, ensuring reliable global reach across multiple regions.
