Thailand’s royal palace announced Friday that Her Royal Highness Princess Bajrakitiyabha Narendira Debyavati is receiving ongoing hospital treatment after developing a serious bloodstream infection. This is the first update on Her Royal Highness’s health since 2023.
The eldest daughter of King Maha Vajiralongkorn was initially hospitalized in December 2022 after losing consciousness due to a heart condition.
According to the statement, doctors are utilizing medications and equipment to support Her Royal Highness’s lung and kidney function, and administered antibiotics and blood pressure medication last week following the detection of the infection.
