Shrewsbury Riverside is proud to announce an exceptional exhibition of student artwork at the prestigious Four Seasons Hotel Bangkok. In collaboration with MOCA Bangkok, a leading institution in Thailand’s contemporary art scene, the exhibition will run from May 2nd to May 30th 2025, celebrating the creativity and talent of the next generation of artists.
Set against the backdrop of Bangkok’s iconic Chao Phraya River, this exhibition reflects the boundless creativity and artefacts of personal expression. The exhibition will feature a diverse collection of paintings, sculptures, and mixed-media works.
This exhibition provides an exceptional glimpse into the future of art, showcasing the creative excellence nurtured at Shrewsbury Riverside by the next generation of artists, set to shape the future landscape of art through their distinct perspective, worldview, and innovation.

The collaboration not only highlights the achievements of Shrewsbury Riverside’s young artists but also creates a space for guests to experience the growing intersection of the education, hospitality, and arts sectors, all in one place.
The exhibition is open to the public, inviting art enthusiasts, collectors, and cultural patrons to explore the fresh perspectives brought forward by Shrewsbury Riverside’s young artists. In addition, guests will have the opportunity to participate in a special charity auction featuring selected student artworks, with proceeds benefiting our charity partners and supporting initiatives that promote arts education and community engagement.
Sonya Papps, Vice Principal (Head of Senior) at Shrewsbury Riverside, noted that this marks the school’s first public art exhibition and expressed her delight at how the experience has elevated the quality of the students’ work.
She also highlighted the importance of parental support, describing it as a key strength of the Shrewsbury community. This includes not only the encouragement parents give their children, but also the meaningful connections they foster with the teaching staff.
Robert Millar, Principal of Shrewsbury Riverside, expressed his appreciation to both the Four Seasons Hotel Bangkok and MOCA Bangkok for their collaboration in supporting the school’s young artists. He also commended the students for their creativity and the high standard of their exhibited work.
He echoed the recognition of the school’s parent community, acknowledging their crucial role in empowering students and strengthening the partnership between families and the school. Mr. Millar affirmed that Shrewsbury’s goal is to support every student in reaching their full potential—an ideal captured in the school’s motto, “Together We Flourish.”
