True Corporation PCL (SET: TRUE) is collaborating with the Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation (DDPM) and the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) to prepare an emergency response plan for Typhoon “Kalmaegi,” which is forecast to bring heavy rainfall, flash floods, and runoff between 7 and 9 November 2025.
TRUE is supporting public safety efforts by transmitting alerts via the Cell Broadcast Service (CBS) and SMS, ensuring timely communication with residents in high-risk areas. DDPM, as the authorized government agency, oversees all official warning messages and content formats, while TRUE works closely with the NBTC on flood-related telecommunication measures.
Network teams are on high alert nationwide, with deployments across 66 DDPM-identified at-risk provinces as of 6 November 2025, in preparation for Typhoon “Kalmaegi.” Field engineers are inspecting base stations and staging backup equipment to maintain uninterrupted mobile and home-internet services throughout the event. Cell-on-Wheels (COW) units have also been readied for rapid deployment to critical locations under the company’s emergency response plan.

- Northeastern region (20 provinces): Loei, Nong Khai, Bueng Kan, Nong Bua Lamphu, Udon Thani, Sakon Nakhon, Nakhon Phanom, Chaiyaphum, Khon Kaen, Maha Sarakham, Kalasin, Ubon Ratchathani, and other provinces.
- Central and Eastern regions (23 provinces): Kanchanaburi, Ratchaburi, Suphan Buri, Chainat, Sing Buri, Ang Thong, Ayutthaya, Lop Buri, Saraburi, Nakhon Nayok, Prachin Buri, Sa Kaeo, Chachoengsao, Chon Buri, Rayong, Chanthaburi, Trat, Pathum Thani, and other provinces.
- Southern region (5 provinces): Phang-nga, Phuket, Krabi, Trang, and Satun.
