Three Dusit Thani Siblings End Conflicts to Focus on Future Growth and Shareholder Benefits

On January 29, Chanin Donavanik, Sinee Thienprasiddhi, and Sunong Salirathavibhaga have released a statement regarding the different opinion on the management of Dusit Thani Public Company Limited (SET: DUSIT), which has become a point of contentious within the founding family for years.

The statement read: “According to the news that has recently emerged regarding differing opinions on the management of DUSIT among Chanin Donavanik, Sinee Thienprasiddhi, and Sunong Salirathavibhaga, as shareholders of Chanut & Children Co., Ltd., which is a major shareholder of DUSIT.

These differing opinions arise from the dedication of all parties who wish to see the company’s business—particularly the Dusit Thani Hotel, which Thanpuying (Lady) Chanut Piyaoui has founded and lovingly cared for over the past 50 years—grow sustainably, create maximum benefit for shareholders, employees, customers, and supporters, enhance the reputation of the nation, and instill pride in Thai people, in line with Lady Chanat’s vision.

At present, all sides have reached an agreement to end such conflicts. They will incorporate the differing opinions and goodwill from all parties involved to further develop the company’s business and operations.”

The statement concluded with: “This is for your information, and we would like to express our gratitude for the concern and goodwill shown towards us, Dusit Thani Public Company Limited, and Chanut & Children Co., Ltd.
