Mr. Wynn Pakdeejit, Managing Partner of Baker McKenzie Thailand, welcomed students and faculty participating in the “WorldNexGen 2026” project, led by Mr. Burapha Sanguanwong, Founder of KH Academy, along with Professor Sangook Park, Professor of Science and Technology Policy at Seoul National University, and faculty members from the Faculty of Commerce and Accountancy, Thammasat University.
The delegation included Professor Dr. Pavida Pananond, lecturer in International Business, Logistics, and Transport; Assistant Professor Dr. Orapan Yolrabil, lecturer in Accounting; and Dr. Worapong Janyangyuen, Advisor to the Dean at Thammasat Business School and Director of the BBA International Program.
On this occasion, Mr. Wynn Pakdeejit extended a warm welcome and shared the history of Baker McKenzie, a multinational law firm established for over 70 years with 71 offices in 46 countries worldwide.
At the same time, the students gained insightful perspectives and in-depth experiences regarding the overview of investment laws in Thailand, while also exchanging views on business trends and opportunities in the region. Professor Dr. Pavida Pananond provided her perspective on Thailand’s role and competitiveness on the international stage.
The event concluded with hands-on workshop activities and presentations from student groups, focusing on concepts for building businesses that grow from the local level to regional expansion, which reflected the potential, creativity, and global outlook of the new generation.
WorldNexGen 2026 is an international academic collaboration between Thammasat University, Seoul National University, and KH Academy. Its objective is to nurture new-generation leaders through in-depth learning of economic and financial policies, which are key drivers for national advancement. The project is supported by top private sector partners, including Hoban Group, B.Grimm Power PCL, Nakwol Blueheart, Royal Orchid Sheraton Hotel, and Kaohoon Turakij.
