JAS Soars as Asia’s Leading Sports & Entertainment Platform with 7-Year Volleyball and 3-Year UEFA Euro Deals

Jasmine International Public Company Limited (JAS) has taken a major step forward in advancing its transformation into a regional sports & entertainment platform, announcing the acquisition of exclusive broadcasting rights to world-class volleyball competitions from Volleyball World for seven years. The agreement covers both indoor and beach volleyball, totaling over 3,000 matches, representing one of the most extensive volleyball rights packages ever secured. In parallel, JAS has also secured rights to 512 matches of the UEFA European Championship (Euro) for three consecutive years. All content will be available live and on-demand via Monomax, the streaming platform operated by Mono Next Public Company Limited (MONO), supporting its advancement to becoming a “Southeast Asia’s Sports & Entertainment Powerhouse” for audiences in Thailand and the region.

The Volleyball World rights were obtained under an exclusive agreement with JAS HK, granting exclusive broadcasting coverage across five Southeast Asian countries including Thailand, Lao PDR, Vietnam, Myanmar, and Cambodia. The move taps into the growing popularity of volleyball across the region, particularly in Thailand, where the sport enjoys a large and loyal fan base. The acquired rights cover a wide range of tournaments, including the Men’s and Women’s Volleyball Nations League (VNL), FIVB Volleyball World Championships, AVC Continental Championship, as well as beach volleyball and other international competitions. Coverage will kick off with the Volleyball Nations League, taking place from June to July. As part of the tournament schedule, Thailand will host the women’s competition during the second week, from June 17–21. Recognized as one of the world’s premier sports tournaments, the league features 18 of the top national teams, including the Thai women’s team, which has consistently been a major audience driver in the region from the era of the World Grand Prix to today’s Nations League.

In parallel, JAS’s UEFA European Championship rights cover a three-year period from 2026 to 2028. The rights portfolio covers a full spectrum of competitions, including the UEFA Nations League, UEFA European Qualifiers, friendly matches, the UEFA U21 Championship 2027, and UEFA EURO 2028. This milestone further strengthens JAS and Monomax’s position as a hub for world-class sports content and reflects their evolution into a regional platform in Southeast Asia. This growth is powered by Monomax’s international expansion through partnerships with Lao Telecom in Lao PDR and FPT Telecom in Vietnam, reaching a subscriber base of 35 million, with more than 1 million new subscribers acquired within just two months, highlighting strong momentum across the region.

Dr. Soraj Asavaprapha, Chief Executive Officer of Jasmine International Public Company Limited (SET: JAS), stated that “The acquisition of global volleyball rights for seven years alongside UEFA European Championship competitions for three consecutive years marks a major leap forward in positioning JAS’s content business on the global stage. This aligns with the continued growth of the media and entertainment industry, where premium sports content attracts large and expanding audiences. With this strategic move, we are unlocking long-term revenue opportunities across subscription, advertising, and strategic partnerships. We remain focused on delivering high-quality content that resonates with Thai audiences. At the same time, we continue to build a strong and sustainable ecosystem that integrates global content, advanced technology, and enhanced viewing experiences that speak to modern audiences and enable new marketing opportunities. Monomax will play a central role in delivering global sports experiences through a modern, all-in-one platform, and we are confident that it will significantly expand our user base over the long term.”
