Top officials and executives from Thailand’s public and private sectors participated in the “Battle Strategy 2026: Winning the New World Order” forum, aiming to devise solutions for current global challenges and economic turbulence. The event, organized by Kaohoon Turakij Group and SCB X, brought together sector leaders to share perspectives and strategies for navigating heightened instability, including conflicts in the Middle East.
Mr. Chanchai Sanguanwong, Director of Kaohoon Turakij, opened the seminar by emphasizing the critical goal of finding ways to address the escalating complexities arising from worldwide volatility. He underscored the importance of equipping participants with the knowledge and tools needed to face these challenges, describing such knowledge as essential instruments for Thailand’s future.
Mr. Chanchai acknowledged that in the current climate, Thailand’s focus has also shifted towards national survival, not just success, as the world grapples with ongoing disruptions.
He highlighted that the underlying aim is to create a space for collaborative thinking to help the Thai economy and business sector overcome obstacles and avoid economic pitfalls. Leaders from both the real economy and the financial sector—spanning state, private, and capital market representatives—were invited to present their insights and practical proposals for driving Thailand forward amid uncertainty.
Appreciation was expressed towards Dr. Ekniti Nitithanprapas, Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister, distinguished speakers, major partners such as SCBX, supporting organizations, and all guests for their contributions in making the high-level forum possible. According to Mr. Chanchai, the combined commitment of all attendees is vital for Thailand to move through unpredictable territory and adapt to evolving global dynamics.
Concluding the event, Mr. Chanchai formally welcomed participants and shared the hope that insights from the seminar will provide critical protection and tools for all stakeholders. He reminded attendees that, “As with previous crises, challenges will eventually subside.”
