GFPT Expects Strong 2Q25 Performance from Export Demand and Higher Selling Prices

Veera Titayangkaruvong, Investor Relations Manager of GFPT Public Company Limited (SET: GFPT), revealed that the overall revenue in 2Q26 is expected to improve due to the recovery in export sales, especially from European and UK customers whose demand is increasing. Additionally, there is a trend of higher selling prices, which should lead to an improved performance in both volume and price in the second quarter.

However, negative factors still persist in 2Q26, putting pressure on profit margins. The price of animal feed raw materials continues to rise, which may further pressure margins for the quarter. The company thus assesses that its operation in the second quarter will decline compared to the same period last year, as 2Q25 had exceptionally strong results, creating a high base. However, performance is expected to be close to the previous quarter.

For 2026 overall, the company maintains its revenue target growth at 2 – 3% from last year, when it recorded a total revenue of THB 19,205.50 million. In 1Q26, the company already generated THB 4,367.81 million in total revenue. At the same time, the company plans to maintain profitability, targeting a gross profit margin of 15 – 16%, while controlling the SG&A to sales ratio at 7.5 – 8%.

Veera added that for investment, the company maintains an annual investment budget of THB 1 – 1.2 billion, aimed at expanding production capacity, upgrading machinery, and continuously increasing operational efficiency, mainly funded by cash flow. Currently, the company has a strong financial position, with cash on hand of over THB 4 billion.

Furthermore, the company’s investment expansion will enhance its potential and revenue opportunities—for example, its recent investment in constructing a new chicken slaughterhouse in Chonburi province, which will increase production capacity to 300,000 chickens per day from the previous 150,000. This increased production capacity will also create additional income opportunities.
