Thailand Manufacturing Production in Feb Tops Expectations with 2.75% Increase

Thailand’s manufacturing production index (MPI) in February came in higher-than-expected at 2.75% compared to the same period of last year. The rise in production was due to the easing Covid-19 restrictions, according to the industry ministry.

The reading in February was higher than a forecast of 2.5% rise in output by Reuters poll and also topped January’s revised of 2.02% increase.
