In 1Q22, CENTEL had a net loss of THB43.69 million, an improvement of 91% compared to a net loss of THB475.73 million in the same period of last year. The increment in operating results was due to an increase in revenue from both food and hotel businesses following Thailand’s reopening and lifting of COVID-19 preventive measures.
CENTEL achieved total revenue of THB3,882 million, up THB1,108 million or 40% from the same period of last year, due to a higher revenue from food and hotel business. The proportion of total revenue between the hotel business and the food business was 32% : 68%., while gross profit was THB2,130 million, up 38% year-on-year.
