CNS Expects High Backlog to Drive AP Thailand’s Net Profit to THB1.18 Billion in 4Q22

The share price of AP (Thailand) Public Company Limited (SET: AP) closed in the morning session on December 7, at THB 11.00 per share, increased 0.40 baht or 3.77%. The highest price was at THB 11.00 per share, and the lowest at THB 10.50 per share, with a total trading value of THB 157.88 million.

Capital Nomura Securities PCL (CNS) expected the net profit trends for the fourth quarter of 2022, approximately 1.18 billion baht, an increase by 19% from the same period the previous year. The increase would be due to its growth in backlog, including ready-to-transfer low-rise, condo. The company also plans to launch new low-rise projects, with a total value of THB 23.7 billion, that should be able to complete the transfer partially.

CNS estimated the net profit of 2022 at THB 5.91 billion, an increase 30% from the same period the previous year. CNS has given a “BUY” recommendation with a target price of THB 15.00 per share.
