UOB Thailand has entered into a strategic partnership with Thammasat Business School (TBS) to enhance its Banker’s Executive Certification Programme. This collaboration aims to equip UOB’s bankers with advanced financial knowledge and essential skills, enabling them to better support the evolving needs of small business clients.
Through this Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), UOB and TBS will jointly develop a comprehensive three-month curriculum. The programme will integrate lectures, case studies, workshops, simulations, and executive masterclasses for 30 high performing Relationship Managers in Business Banking function. Participants will engage in an extensive range of topics, including emerging trends in SMEs, performance strategy simulations, sales monitoring, risk management, account planning and essential communication skills and leadership skills.

Participants will practice decision-making, problem-solving and consultative selling skills to recommend financial products that meet customers’ needs. They will also learn effective communication skills to maintain their competitive edge astrusted financial advisers.”

Since its inception in 2017, 102 SME bankers have been selected for the Banker’s Executive Certification programme. Of these, 55 graduates have advanced to senior management positions within UOB Thailand.
