GULF Commercializes GSA Data Center with Aims to Hit 25MW by Year’s End

Ms. Yupapin Wangviwat, Chief Financial Officer of Gulf Development Public Company Limited (SET: GULF), revealed to Kaohoon regarding the development of GSA DC (Data Center) as today, the company will begin commercializing the data center’s operation of 6.4 MW before expanding to 25 MW by the end of the year, and 50 MW afterward.

GULF expected to generate THB 100 million per 1 MW from the GSA DC project. Therefore, the data center that addresses international and region’s demand for Cloud, AI, and advanced digital systems should generate revenue of THB 2.5 billion. Ms. Yupapin stated the company will recognize a portion of revenue from the 6.4 MW operation in 2Q25.

The opening of GSA DC (Data Center) is one of the initiations meant to support GULF’s 2025 performance. The company expects that its operation would grow rapidly after merging with Intouch Holdings PCL (INTUCH).

Furthermore, GULF is also in the process of negotiating with its partner that specializes in technology and customers to support the continued growing demand in the digital age, especially from the government sector and the hyperscaler enterprise, such as the financial institutions and e-commerce.

This also includes the business organization sector that is driving toward the digital transformation through data processing and storing on Cloud systems and the use of Artificial Intelligent (AI). They are the main factors that support the domestic organizations and attract the hyperscalers to Thailand’s market as their demand on processing and storing big data grows.

This joint development is the collaboration between GULF, Advanced Info Service PCL (SET: ADVANC), and Singapore Telecommunications Limited (Singtel) from Singapore.

Analysts from Bualuang Securities PCL recommended “BUY” on GULF’s stock with a price target of THB 72 per share. This is due to their view on the company’s ongoing growth this year and the opening of a data center that will support the long term performance.
