The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) reported 12 big-lot transactions of Krungthai Card Public Company Limited (SET: KTC) as of 10:15, Monday morning, with a total trading volume of 240 million shares at an average price of THB23.00 per share.
The average price was 2.5% lower than the lowest trading price of THB23.60 per share in the morning session.
Following a series of big-lot transactions last week that was speculated to be a forced sell from several margin accounts, KTC disclosed information through the Thai stock exchange, reaffirming that its business fundamentals remain strong. There are no significant events that may affect the company’s operations and financial position. KTC added that the company remains committed to operating with transparency and will inform its shareholders if any material information that may affect the business arises.
