Millennium Group Expects Strong 2H25 Car Sales with New MINI Black Edition E-Challenge

Mr. Sompraj Bosuwan, Deputy General Manager of Sales and Marketing Department at Millennium Auto Group Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Millennium Group Corporation (Asia) PCL (SET: MGC), stated that overall performance for the MGC group in the second half of 2025 is expected to see higher vehicle sales and orders compared to the first half of the year.

This is due to a more positive year-end economic outlook and increased competition in the automotive sector, along with the upcoming Motor Expo 2025 (the 42nd Motor Expo), where various automakers will roll out marketing events, promotions, and special offers that will benefit consumers and help facilitate purchase decisions. The growing trend of electric vehicles (EVs) is expected to continue, with MINI positioned as a compelling alternative.

On October 31, 2025, the company held a press conference highlighting the achievements of the “Millennium Motorsport x Magik Proshop” racing team for 2025, featuring professional driver Mr. Mongkol Khamsoong and his car, the “MINI Cooper F56 Challenge EVO,” which delivered an impressive performance in the PT MAXNITRON RACING SERIES 2025 across a total of 7 circuits.

The event also marked the launch of the limited “MINI Black Edition E-Challenge,” available in restricted quantities, at the MINI Millennium Auto Ekamai integrated service center showroom. The limited-edition series comes with special privileges for participating in the “MINI Challenge 2025” at Chang International Circuit in Buriram, giving owners a chance to experience professional racing on an international track and receiving guidance from professional drivers.

The “MINI Challenge” is a one-make race event where all participants compete in the same car model, providing equal opportunity for both professional and amateur drivers to race on real tracks. The competition originated in the United Kingdom around 2002 and has since gained popularity worldwide, standing out for its fun, intensity, and embodiment of MINI’s spirit: agile, exhilarating, and filled with Challenge DNA.

This year, the excitement of the MINI Challenge entered a new era with Formula E’s debut of the “NXT Gen Cup,” a junior touring car series using 100% electric vehicles, opening up racing to drivers aged 15 – 25. The inaugural season plans several races across Europe, including Italy, Germany, and the UK, reinforcing the mission of Formula E and MINI to drive motorsport towards a more sustainable future and continue the legacy of MINI Challenge into the all-electric age.

The MINI Black Edition E-Challenge is a special version exclusive to MINI Millennium Auto, a chic, limited-production EV model sold only at MINI Millennium Auto showrooms. It features a bold, sporty black body, contrasted with gold 18-inch JCW Rallye Spoke wheels and matching Black Edition decals. The car offers the instant acceleration typical of 100% electric vehicles and comes with exclusive rights for owners to participate in future MINI Challenge events.
