GFPT Sees Strong Results in 4Q, Setting THB1.2 Billion Investment for Growth

Veera Titayangkaruvong, Investor Relations Manager at GFPT Public Company Limited (SET: GFPT), revealed that the business performance trend for 4Q25 is expected to improve from the third quarter, which recorded total sales revenue of 4,740 million baht.

This forecast follows the resolution of the labor shortage, and the situation has begun to recover, enabling the overall processed chicken production capacity to return to near-normal levels at around 90-95%. Additionally, in 4Q25, the company will benefit from government measures such as the “Khon La Khrueng Plus” scheme, which has significantly boosted consumption and increased consumers’ purchasing power.

In the past, GFPT employed about 20% Cambodian labor or approximately 1,000 people. However, in August 2025, a large number of Cambodian workers resigned, causing a reduction in the company’s processed chicken production capacity. The company adapted by hiring more Myanmar and Thai workers, relieving the labor shortage. The company believes that the labor issue will be resolved by 4Q25.

For the full year 2025, the company expects its revenue to remain stable from the previous year, which saw total revenue of 19,656 million baht, due to a decline in revenue during the first nine months of 2025 from the impact of mass Cambodian worker resignations in 3Q25.

Meanwhile, the company aims to maintain a gross profit margin at 16.5-17.5% for 2025, with the first nine months already achieving a margin of 17%. Selling, General, and Administrative Expenses (SG&A) will be maintained at 7-7.5% of total sales, while financial costs are expected to remain low at 1.5-2.5%. Similarly, the effective tax rate is relatively low, at 10-15%.

Mr. Veera added that in 2026, the company will continue focusing on growth from its core business and will proceed with business expansion as planned. The company has allocated an investment budget of approximately 1,000-1,200 million baht to expand farming operations and construct a new slaughterhouse to ensure ongoing growth.
