Mr. Weerawat Wirojphoka, Senior Director of FSS International Investment Advisory Securities (FSSIA), stated that the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) Index closed the morning session lower by 0.31%, or 4.12 points, at 1,310.27 points, as it lacked new factors to advance. Geopolitical tensions continue to weigh on short-term investment sentiment, after the SET Index rose nearly 100 points over the past two weeks.
This morning, the market moved mixed; DELTA slowed after surging last week, while the power plant group retreated under pressure from rising oil prices and the outlook for electricity rates to decline due to the campaign policies of political parties.
In the afternoon session, the market is expected to fluctuate and stabilize in negative territory, with support at 1,305–1,300 points and resistance at 1,320 points.
