Thailand’s SET Index closed at 1,346.54 points, increased 10.43 points or 0.78%, with a trading value of THB 53.3 billion. The analyst stated that the Thai market extended gain due to supporting factors from ICT stocks, particularly ADVANC as the company posted a strong special dividend payout, which also bolstered GULF.
Beyond ICT and banking stocks, fund flow has also moved toward energy, refinery, and petrochemical stocks.
For the next two days ahead of the February 8 election, the analyst expects the Thai market to move sideways-up within a range of 1,340 – 1,375 points.
