OR Flags Mobility and Lifestyle Businesses as Key Growth Driver in 2026

Wilaiwan Kanjanakanti, Deputy Chief Financial Officer of PTT Oil and Retail Business Public Company Limited (SET: OR), stated that the company’s 2Q26 performances will decline as it is a low season. Nevertheless, for the entire year of 2026, OR believes the Mobility and Lifestyle businesses will continue to perform well. The company also expected that the government’s “Thai Chuay Thai” policy will stimulate domestic purchasing power and the economy.

For 2026, the Mobility business is expected to see growth in both retail and commercial markets, with the gross profit margin per liter estimated to be around THB 1 per liter. The Lifestyle business also maintains a positive outlook. Both Café Amazon and convenience stores continue to grow along with the increasing number of branches and product offerings.

Although the overall economic situation has not improved and may slow consumer spending, OR’s purchasing power stimulation campaigns have attracted consumers. As a result, the EBITDA Margin for the whole year of 2026 is expected to stay within the range of 28-30%.

For the EV business, OR continues to expand its network nationwide, and the EV Station PluZ has shown improved utilization rates. The stations are reaching break-even points and starting to generate some margin. However, at present, EV charging stations remain a small investment portfolio for OR. As EV market share grows, OR is investing in infrastructure to support the anticipated expansion of EVs in the future.

Regarding the Global business, OR continues to seek investment opportunities in other countries with growth potential, especially in Asia. Investments in Café Amazon franchises now span over 10 countries that have been granted investment rights.

As for developments in Cambodia, after the border conflict between Thailand and Cambodia, OR has delayed its investment plans along with the shifted geopolitical environment, and is now maintaining its business operations there. The business performance in Cambodia will see a decrease in EBITDA, but this will have limited impact on OR overall due to the small size of the investment.

As of March 31, OR has a total of 2,737 PTT Stations, with over 2,400 in Thailand and more than 300 overseas. Café Amazon outlets total 5,042, with 4,750 in Thailand and 292 overseas. There are 1,361 EV Station PluZ charging stations, representing 3,021 DC charging heads and covering 77 provinces. There are 2,455 convenience store branches.
