Thailand’s SET Index closed at 1,609.99 points, increased 0.23 points or 0.01%, with a trading value of THB 82.36 billion. The analyst stated that the Thai stock market surged in early trading along with overseas market trends, as investors responded to lower bond yields after the U.S. Treasury doubled its buyback program. However, the market later faced selling pressures from the electronics sector after failing to break through the 1,630 threshold.
For tomorrow, the analyst expects the Thai market to move sideways, as investors await new catalysts, including the Middle East situation and fund inflows, while the Thailand Focus event next week could also propel positive factors.
