Royal Thai Air Force Deploys F-16s in Response to Cambodian Artillery

A news report from the Royal Thai Air Force revealed that on Monday, December 8, 2025, the Air Force had deployed F-16 aircraft in ground support operations, targeting Cambodian artillery that had fired into Thai territory. The operation is currently underway, with air strikes (aircraft weapon deployment) focused on three initial areas: Chong An Ma, Prasat Kana Radio Tower, and the area near the Preah Vihear Temple. This follows the incident in which one Thai soldier was killed and four others wounded after Cambodian artillery fire hit a base.
