Trump Vows to Obliterate Iran as Military Hits Kharg Island, Tehran Cuts All Diplomatic Channels

President Donald Trump on Tuesday delivered a stern ultimatum to Iran, threatening severe consequences if its leaders refuse to reach an agreement involving the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz. The warning followed overnight U.S. strikes targeting military sites on Iran’s Kharg Island, according to officials.

In a post on Truth Social, President Trump stated that unless Iranian authorities accept terms related to the Strait of Hormuz, an irreversible disaster could unfold, signaling the potential for heavy loss and escalation.

U.S. officials confirmed that American forces had carried out new attacks focused on military locations on Kharg Island. Authorities clarified that the region’s oil infrastructure was not affected by the strikes during the night.

Following these actions, Iranian officials took the step of cutting off all diplomatic channels and indirect communication with the United States. The developments underscore a significant rise in tensions between the two nations, with diplomatic efforts showing signs of collapse.
