FWD Insurance Pledges Charity Donation To the ‘Help Younger Children See’ Project For Every Download Of Omne By FWD

FWD Insurance (“FWD”) invites customers to download and register for membership of Omne by FWD (“Omne”)—a lifestyle platform designed to make insurance faster and more accessible, covering a range of policy services and lifestyle activities. For every successful download and online membership application, FWD will contribute 18 baht to the ‘Help Younger Children See’ project under Her Majesty the Queen’s 80th Birthday Anniversary Building Fund at the Children’s Hospital Foundation. This initiative runs from November 16 to December 31, 2023.

Mr. David Korunić, Chief Executive Officer of FWD Insurance, highlights our dedication to integrating a digital-by-design approach across all facets of business operations, aiming to enhance our services for better understanding and accessibility of life insurance. Omne is designed to empower customers, enabling them to conveniently and swiftly manage various aspects such as policy information, online policy loan requests, and prompt online claims with refunds processed within minutes. Furthermore, the app introduces lifestyle activities, providing customers with the opportunity to accumulate points for rewards redemption, all within one easy-to-use application.

We invite FWD customers to register for membership of Omne and join us in providing vision opportunities for Thai children. For every successful download and online membership application, FWD will contribute 18 baht per account to the ‘Help Younger Children See’ project under Her Majesty the Queen’s 80th Birthday Anniversary Building Fund at the Children’s Hospital Foundation. These funds will be used to care for and treat children with Retinopathy of Prematurity (ROP) or abnormal eye conditions, aiming to reduce the number of visually impaired and blind children born prematurely. According to the Queen Sirikit National Institute of Child Health (the Children’s Hospital), ROP is the leading cause of blindness in Thai children, affecting approximately 4,000 infants born prematurely each year.

“Join us in being a part of creating equality in society by downloading Omne and supporting this important initiative to ensure that Thai children receive care and can lead fulfilling lives in society on an equal footing,” said Mr. David.
