ROCTEC Global Public Company Limited (SET: ROCTEC), a subsidiary of BTS Group Holdings Public Company Limited (SET: BTS), together with TOA Paint (Thailand) Public Company Limited (SET: TOA), a corporate partner of KH Academy, recently participated in a roadshow and workshop to support the fourth intake of the ‘Prep For Fund Manager’ program.
The event, aimed at preparing university students for careers as fund managers, featured a team portfolio management competition with scholarships totaling THB 50,000 for the winning team. Both ROCTEC and TOA engaged directly with students during the workshop, providing in-depth data for use in portfolio planning.
This information covered the companies’ financial statements for the past three years, strategic plans, future income projections, company valuation, peer benchmarking within the industry, business risks and opportunities, as well as perspectives on ESG and corporate governance. The goal was to offer students an authentic foundation for making investment decisions and constructing a simulated mutual fund portfolio, mirroring the responsibilities of a real fund manager.
Representatives from ROCTEC included Mr. Saran Sriweraskul, ROCTEC Head of Investor Relations; Mr. Ekkaphon Khaengkasikorn, ROCTEC Investor Relations Officer; Ms. Pantita Junlanop, ROCTEC Investor Relations Officer; and Mr. Kuntorn Thongmoon, Investor Relations Officer at BTS Group. Notably, Mr. Kuntorn, an alumnus of Thammasat University’s Faculty of Commerce and Accountancy and a champion of the inaugural Prep for Fund Manager workshop, returned to share his experience and insights with the new batch.
TOA was represented at the event by Acting Sub Lt. Surasak Mandaeng, Chief Financial Officer at TOA, and Ms. Srikanlaya Pensri, Senior Manager – Company Secretary and Investor Relations at TOA.
The fourth intake of the Prep For Fund Manager program is supported by the Thailand Capital Market Development Fund (CMDF). The event took place on October 30, 2025, at KH Academy’s Ratchathewi Campus.
