Thailand’s Stock Exchange Welcomes WorldNexGen 2026 Students, Strengthening Thai-Korean Capital Market Ties

Mr. Asadej Kongsiri, President of the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET), welcomed the students and professors from the “WorldNexGen 2026” project, along with executives and staff from KH Academy. The group attended an English-language lecture outlining the overview of the Stock Exchange of Thailand.

Notable topics include the interconnection between the Thai and Korean capital markets, as well as sustainable development approaches for capital markets, delivered by the SET’s strategic relations department.

On this occasion, Mr. Asadej congratulated the project and stated that capital markets worldwide play a vital role in the economic development of nations, particularly the Thai and Korean capital markets, which have enjoyed a close and longstanding relationship, sharing cultural similarities and lifestyles. He expressed his hope that new generations from both countries would leverage the capital markets as opportunities for new business development and sustainable progress for their nations.

During the visit, WorldNexGen 2026 students and professors also toured the Investment Discovery Museum (INVESTORY), Thailand’s first financial planning and investment learning center. The museum aims to inspire proper financial and investment planning for sustainability, enhance understanding of the mechanisms of the Thai capital market, and provide insights into the development of Thailand’s stock exchange.
