KH Academy Joins Forces with Top Law Firms to Elevate Legal Education for Secondary School Teachers across Thailand

KH Academy has joined forces with leading law firms to support the Secondary School Law Teacher Training Program, Batch 20, organized by the Faculty of Law at Thammasat University. This collaboration is part of KH Academy’s ongoing mission to advance the dissemination of knowledge and enhance the quality of Thai society, in alignment with the vision of Kaohoon Turakij.

Key law firms participating in this initiative include Kudun & Partners, Baker McKenzie, Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer (Thailand), Wise Equity Legal Counsel, and TTT+Partners, among others. These partnerships aim to strengthen legal competencies and the principles of the rule of law among educators, equipping them to better impart essential legal awareness to Thai youth in the modern era.

The official opening ceremony for this program took place on Monday, April 20, 2026, at Lecture Hall 211 (Marut Boonnak Mock Court Room), Faculty of Law, Thammasat University, Tha Prachan Campus. The ceremony was presided over by Assistant Professor Dr. Aimpaga Techa-apikun, Associate Dean for Academic Services and Enterprise Engagement at the Faculty of Law, Thammasat University, who also delivered a keynote address on the topic, “The Role of the Faculty of Law, Thammasat University, in Advancing Legal Education at All Levels,” stressing the importance of legal knowledge as a foundational pillar for society.

On this occasion, Mr. Burapha Sanguanwong, Founder of KH Academy, as the main sponsor and representative of program partners, spoke on the private sector’s vital role in driving educational development in Thailand. He emphasized that the most crucial responsibility of the private sector is to bridge the gap between classroom learning and the realities of the professional world, ensuring that the younger generation is fully prepared to enter the workforce and society at large with the necessary skills and awareness.

Mr. Burapha stated, “A major challenge for Thai education is enabling Thai students to keep pace with the rapidly changing world. The private sector’s role is to bring real-world experiences and perspectives from the business sector to complement what the education system may not yet fully address. We want to see logical investors, visionary journalists, and a new generation who possess a sound understanding of the law—so that they are not vulnerable to deception. KH Academy and Kaohoon reaffirm our commitment to supporting this initiative, cultivating a fertile ground for educational excellence.”

The Secondary School Law Teacher Training Program, Batch 20, is being held from April 20 to 25, 2026, at the Faculty of Law, Thammasat University, Tha Prachan Campus. Eighty-one teachers, selected rigorously from educational institutions nationwide, are attending the program free of charge. The aim is for participating educators to absorb and later impart new knowledge, practical experience, and perspectives to their students, thereby fostering legal literacy and instilling the enduring values of the rule of law—an essential mechanism for addressing Thailand’s long-term social challenges.
