LH Funds’ AUM Surges in 1H25 despite Market Slowdown

Mr. Monrat Phadungsit, President of Land and Houses Fund Management Company Limited (LH Fund), stated that in the first half of the year, the company’s net assets of mutual funds including property fund and REITs have reached the total of THB 66.9 billion, a 4.5% increase from the end of last year. Furthermore, its private fund also has grown to THB 13.09 billion, while the provident funds (PVD) has increased to THB 9.59 billion.

For the second half of this year, LH fund will use proactive strategy to create sustainable growth. LH fund will present solutions that address customers’ needs besides investing. For private fund’s customers, the company will enhance the investment and product solution to increase the address for the individual’s needs. As for PVD, the company will expand it by focusing on companies that do not have PVD.

Mr. Kant Athatamsuntorn, President of Land and Houses Securities Management Company Limited (LH Securities), stated that during the first half of the year, the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) was falling due to several factors, both domestic and international. These factors include concerns over political stability, economic condition, the U.S. reciprocal tariff, MSCI downgrade, and geopolitical conflicts.

These events caused the Thai stock market in the first half of the year to fall lower than other stock markets’ indexes in the region. At the end of the second quarter, SET index closed at 1,089.56 points, a 22.2% decrease from the end of last year, while the average daily trading value dropped to THB 41.85 billion. Furthermore, the brokerage income also decreased from the same period last year to THB 40.2 million, primarily due to the reduction of the trading volume in Thailand’s stock market.

LH Securities’ strategy still applies to a caution growth method, with focus on passive income, such as dividend income and incomes from underwriting fee and financial advisory fee. The company also focuses on adding and developing its product and service. For example, it offered foreign securities trading services, developed technological systems to facilitate customers, increased engagement with existing customers by providing convenient, fast and secure services with effective cost management.
