Today, Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, is scheduled to make an official visit to the Republic of Singapore to strengthen bilateral relations and promote cooperation in various sectors between the two countries, according to Mr. Siripong Angkasakulkiat, Government Spokesperson.
At the invitation of Mr. Lawrence Wong, Prime Minister of Singapore, this visit holds special significance as it coincides with the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Thailand and Singapore. It also reciprocates the visit by the Singaporean Prime Minister to Thailand in November 2024. PM Anutin will also participate in the SET Government Roadshow 2025 as well.
At the SET Government Roadshow 2025, the Prime Minister is scheduled to deliver a keynote address and meet with leading investors. Accompanying him are Dr. Ekniti Nitithanprapas, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, Mr. Asadeth Kongsiri, Director and President of the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET), and executives from Kiatnakin Phatra Securities. They will also conduct investment roadshows in Singapore.
Additionally, executives from three SET-listed companies have been invited: PTT Public Company Limited (SET: PTT), Minor International Public Company Limited (SET: MINT), and Thai Airways International Public Company Limited (SET: THAI), to provide information to institutional investors.
Furthermore, Mr. Anutin is scheduled to meet Mr. Martin Siah, Singapore Country Head and Head of Southeast Asia Global Corporate and Investment Banking, Bank of America, to discuss the Thai capital market. Leading global funds participating include mutual funds such as AIA Capital, Catalyst, Eastspring, Fidelity, Fullerton, GSAM, Hillhouse, JPM, Lion Global, Nomura, OCBC, OMERS, Schroders, Seatown, Templeton, T.Rowe, UBS, and Wellington.
Fixed income funds have also been invited to the discussion, comprising Aberdeen, AIA, Allianz Global Investors, Amundi, Bank of SG, BlackRock, Eastspring, Fidelity, Fullerton, GSAM, HSBC GAM, Lion Global, M&G, Manulife, MSIM, Nikko AM, PIMCO, Schroders, State Street Global Advisors, Tahan Capital, Tokio Marine, UBS GAM, UOB AM, and Wellington.
