Haier (Thailand), a global leader in home appliance innovation and the world’s number one home appliance brand for 16 consecutive years, is stepping up comprehensive recovery efforts to support communities in southern Thailand affected by recent flooding.
The company has donated essential supplies and household appliances through the Ministry of Public Health, the Saeng–Saikee Hetrakul Foundation and Daily News, ensuring aid is distributed widely to communities in need. Haier Thailand also deployed teams to evacuation centers and affected areas to deliver household appliances, consumer goods, medicines and cleaning supplies, with total support valued at more than 400,000 baht.
Key recipients include Prince of Songkla University, Ban Phru Subdistrict Municipality and the Bang Sala community. In addition, the company has introduced a range of post-flood customer care measures, including free inspection and repair services, subsidized technician labor costs and a 50% discount on spare parts, aimed at helping flood victims and communities resume their daily lives as quickly and safely as possible.

Mr. Dong Jianping, President of Haier Electrical Appliances (Thailand) Co., Ltd., said the company is deeply concerned about the impact of the severe flooding that has caused extensive damage across several southern provinces. Haier Thailand recognizes the hardship faced by our customers, local communities and partners in the affected areas,” he said.
“We are committed to delivering timely and comprehensive assistance through appliance recovery measures, donations of essential supplies and various support services to help ease the burden during this difficult time, so that people can return to normal life safely as soon as possible.”
Haier Thailand has implemented a structured and systematic relief and recovery plan, focusing on three key initiatives:
Donations and on-the-ground community support: Haier has provided essential supplies and household appliances through the Ministry of Public Health, the Saeng–Saikee Hetrakul Foundation and Daily News to ensure assistance reaches communities in need.
The company has also dispatched teams to support evacuation centers and local communities in southern Thailand, including Prince of Songkla University, Ban Phru Subdistrict Municipality and the Bang Sala community.
Items delivered include household appliances, rice, cleaning equipment, consumer goods, as well as medicines for the prevention and treatment of leptospirosis, to help restore daily living conditions as a matter of urgency.
Free laundry service: To help ease the burden on flood-affected residents, Haier has provided free laundry services in southern Thailand, addressing the large volume of water-damaged clothing and helping reduce cleaning costs during the initial recovery period. The service is available at Participating stores from 11-31 December 2025.
Post-flood customer care measures – free labor and 50% spare parts discount: To help reduce repair costs for appliances damaged by flooding, Haier has introduced special customer support measures, including free technician labor for appliance inspection and repair, as well as a 50% discount on spare parts for affected Haier appliances. The measures apply to designated flood-affected areas in northern, central and southern Thailand and are effective from now until 31 December 2025.
