KH Academy and WorldNexGen Pay Visit to Government House, Emphasizing Thai-Korean Collaboration

A delegation of students and faculty from the ‘WorldNexGen 2026’ initiative, hosted by KH Academy, visited the Office of the Prime Minister for a meeting with Miss Supamas Isarabhakdi, Minister attached to the Prime Minister’s Office, and a tour of Government House.

This engagement underscores ongoing efforts to strengthen international academic partnerships focused on economic and financial policy leadership development between Thailand and South Korea.

The WorldNexGen 2026 program is a collaborative effort connecting Seoul National University (SNU), Thammasat University (TU), and KH Academy. Its chief goal is to foster new leaders with expertise in policy, economics, and finance—areas considered essential for national progress.

During the visit, Minister Supamas Isarabhakdi expressed appreciation for KH Academy and its continuous commitment to human resources development, noting its alignment with Thailand’s key educational strategies.

The Minister pointed out that the program not only fosters people-to-people cooperation between Thailand and South Korea but also allows participants to experience Thailand’s role as an entry point to the ASEAN region. An upcoming visit to Seoul was highlighted as another important opportunity for cultural and academic exchange, expected to further broaden participant perspectives through exposure to advanced Korean technology and academic excellence.

Mr. Burapha Sanguanwong, Founder of KH Academy and coordinator of the program, explained that WorldNexGen goes beyond a typical student exchange, serving as a platform to build long-term professional and economic links between the two countries. Integrating talented individuals from both Seoul National University and Thammasat University creates a foundation for future bilateral cooperation and mutual understanding. He described the participating students as architects of the ongoing and future Thai-Korean relationship.

Mr. Burapha also noted that the first segment of the program, running for two intensive weeks in Thailand, emphasizes the principle of unity in diversity—encouraging students to appreciate Thailand’s regional role and innovation leadership from Korea. The second segment is scheduled to take place in South Korea from January 31 to February 7, 2026.

Following the meeting, the Minister’s office arranged for the WorldNexGen group to tour key areas of Government House, including the Naree Samosorn, Phakdi Bodin, Santi Maitri, and Thai Khu Fah buildings. These experiences were aimed at showcasing Thailand’s dedication to youth development and international cooperation.

WorldNexGen 2026 is supported by high-profile business partners, such as Hoban Group, B.Grimm Power Public Company Limited, Nakwol Blueheart, Royal Orchid Sheraton Hotel, and Kaohoon Turakij Daily Newspaper. Activities in Thailand will continue through January 17 before the cohort travels to Seoul National University for the program’s subsequent phase in early February.

KH Academy, established by Kaohoon Turakij Daily Newspaper, is dedicated to bridging the gap between academic learning and practical experience in finance, capital markets, and business, to prepare young people for professional success in both domestic and international contexts.
