KH Academy, the educational institute, continues to fulfill the core mission of “Kaohoon Turakij” newspaper by contributing to the development and improvement of Thai society. The institution has launched the KH Legal Aid project, a seminar and legal education program for the public to promote knowledge and understanding of rights and duties, thus reducing the risk of legal violations. Participation is completely free of charge.
For KH Legal Aid this March, students and the general public are invited to explore the inner workings of the organization responsible for overseeing Thailand’s capital market with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). The seminar, under the topic “The SEC’s Mission in Supervising and Maintaining Stability in the Thai Capital Market,” features esteemed guest speakers: Ms. Sireethorn Civilize, Ph.D, Director of the Investment Management Policy Department, and Mr. Nirun Aramratanapan, Ph.D, Assistant Director of the Investment Management Supervision Department, both from the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). These experts will deliver exclusive insights into the SEC’s structure and operations, focusing on ethical principles in professional conduct, investor protection, and supervision responsibilities within the capital market system. This includes fund managers and asset management companies (AMC), along with future investment trends and emerging risks in the fund management industry (Future of Fund Management). The seminar will cover governance duties and comprehensive responsibilities in the capital market to equip investors with essential knowledge for making informed decisions.
