Thai Central Bankruptcy Court Accepts NWR’s Rehabilitation Plan Petition

Nawarat Patanakarn Public Company Limited (SET: NWR) has informed the Stock Exchange of Thailand that on 9 June 2026, the company followed up on the progress of the case with the Central Bankruptcy Court and subsequently received a copy of the Court’s order on 10 June 2026.

The order indicates that the Central Bankruptcy Court has accepted the company’s business rehabilitation petition for consideration and has scheduled a hearing on the rehabilitation petition for 17 August 2026.

In this regard, the company has summarized the key details of the business rehabilitation petition as follows:

  1. The company, as the debtor, is the petitioner filing the business rehabilitation petition with the Central Bankruptcy Court.
  2. The company has proposed NWR as the planner. If the Central Bankruptcy Court issues an order approving the business rehabilitation and appointing it as the planner, such planner will have the authority and duties to manage the company’s business and assets in accordance with applicable law.
  3. The preliminary business rehabilitation plan includes:
    1. Financial restructuring;
    2. Cost management;
    3. Improvement of production efficiency;
    4. Development of commercial strategies for project bidding
    5. Expansion of distribution channels for concrete products and fabricated steel products.
  4. Entering into the business rehabilitation process will enable the company to implement its rehabilitation plan more effectively under a legal framework that provides fair protection to all stakeholders. During the rehabilitation process, the Company will continue its business operations as usual.

The company would like to assure that it will use its utmost efforts to maintain business stability and minimize impacts on all stakeholders. The company will further report any material progress regarding the rehabilitation process to the Stock Exchange of Thailand accordingly.

NWR has notified the Stock Exchange of Thailand on May 29, 2026, that it has filed a petition for business rehabilitation with the Central Bankruptcy Court pursuant to the Bankruptcy Act B.E. 2483 (1940), as amended.
