Adisak Sukumvitaya, Chief Executive Officer of Jaymart Group Holdings Public Company Limited (SET: JMART), shared a business overview at the “Opportunity Day” event organized by the Stock Exchange of Thailand on August 17. He discussed the company’s direction towards a new phase of growth, focusing on integrating technology into their mobile phone business—a sector in which JMART has over 30 years of expertise. Notably, the locked phone segment is expected to be a key growth driver.
The smartphone market in Thailand comprises approximately 17 million units per year, with consumers gradually shifting towards higher-priced models. JMART has formed strategic alliances with leading brands via platforms run by SG Capital Public Company Limited (SET: SGC) and KB J Capital Company Limited (KBJ), both of which continue to generate consistent profits.
This growth is further supported by the Jaymart Mobile distribution network and Singer Thailand Public Company Limited (SET: SINGER), as well as by JMT Network Services Public Company Limited (SET: JMT), which leverages its database to more accurately screen customer quality. For JMT’s debt management business, growth is projected to continue in the second half of the year. Although the volume of new debt purchases has declined compared to previous years, the supply of non-performing loans in the system is expected to steadily trickle in.
Looking to the future, JMART plans to list three subsidiaries on the Stock Exchange of Thailand: Suki Teenoi, KBJ, and J Ventures—the group’s technology arm. All three companies are currently prepared and evaluating the appropriate timing for fundraising.
Regarding JMART Group’s financial stability, the company maintains a robust capital position, with an interest bearing debt-to-equity ratio (IBD ratio) at a low level of only 0.61x. JMART has already secured funding to settle THB 1,612 million in maturing debentures due this October, through available cash, liquid assets, planned issuance of new debentures for roll-over, and anticipated dividends from subsidiaries. The company is thus confident of meeting its debt obligations without issue.
For BNN Restaurant Group Company Limited, which operates Suki Teenoi restaurants, there are currently five brands under management: Suki Teenoi, Suki Teenoi Plus, Teenoi Go, Teenoi BBQ, and Nai Phran Mookata. As of the end of July, there were 134 outlets across 42 provinces, with plans to expand into 17 more provinces by year-end—bringing coverage to 59 provinces before reaching all 77 provinces nationwide by next year.
In terms of performance, Suki Teenoi restaurants recorded total sales of THB 2,915 million in 2Q26, representing 13% growth over the previous quarter, driven by the continuous opening of 4 – 5 new branches per month. Net profit stood at THB 165 million, a slight decrease from the previous quarter, mainly due to higher selling expenses and promotional campaigns during new branch openings, as well as increased set-up costs, although overall raw material cost management has improved.
