On June 25, 2026, Khunying Patama Leeswadtrakul posted on her personal Facebook page regarding her attendance at the International Olympic Committee (IOC) meeting in Switzerland. She arrived at Zurich Airport on June 23 before taking a train to Lausanne, the location of the IOC headquarters.
Khunying Patama revealed that she had the opportunity to meet and discuss with Thomas Lund, Secretary General of the Badminton World Federation (BWF), as well as presidents of several national badminton associations, exchanging views on the development of badminton at the international level.
Additionally, on the same evening, she joined global sports leaders in an Olympic Day celebration.
On June 24, Khunying Patama attended the 146th IOC Session (extraordinary session), which took place throughout the day and was scheduled to continue on the following day. IOC members from around the world participated to discuss and define the future direction of the Olympic event.
