Headline: KTB expects 2022 profit of THB30 billion, mainly driven by Pao Tang app

Krung Thai Bank Plc. (SET: KTB) maintained its 2022 targets at THB30 billion, an increase of 36% year-over-year, mainly driven by the Pao Tang mobile app, which is anticipated to boost fee revenue by 100%. In addition, KTB has reduced its reserve for expected credit losses. KTB is rated “BUY” with a price target of THB17.40 per share by analysts.

 

Headline: III advances in rail logistics, while LEO sees robust first-quarter profit growth

Triple I Logistics Plc. (SET: III) partnered with Lao PDR’s “Sitthi” to offer international rail transport services connecting the China-Laos railway route. The company anticipates revenue between THB300 and THB400 million this year, with plans to list ANI on the Stock Exchange of Thailand by year’s end.

Meanwhile, Leo Global Logistics Plc. (SET: LEO) reported a net profit of THB89.9 million in 1Q22, an increase of 233% year-over-year.

(SET: SCN) had earnings of THB268.5 million, up 1,059% year-over-year, from the sales of Thai-Japan Gas Network Co., Ltd.

 

Headline: YGG reports outstanding 1Q results and THB0.109 dividend payment

Yggdrazil Group Plc. (SET: YGG) reported a net profit of THB30.39 million in 1Q22, an increase of 94% from the same period of last year, due to a 81% rise in movie and VFX businesses. Furthermore, YGG  approved an interim dividend payment of THB0.109 per share, with an ex-dividend date on May 30, 2022.

 

Headline: LH is the top performer in property sector in 1Q22, with a profit of THB1.9 billion

In 1Q22, Land and Houses Plc. (SET: LH) produced a robust profit of THB1,931 million, making it the top performer in the property sector, followed by AP (Thailand) Plc. (SET: AP) with a profit of THB1,729 million.

Supalai Plc. (SET: SPALI) showed a net profit of THB1,177.81 million, while Nirvana Daii Plc. (SET: NVD) posted a 282% surge in earnings at THB155.86 million.
