SKY ICT Gains 5% despite Extension of Cash Balance Measure

The share price of Sky ICT Public Company Limited (SET: SKY) closed the morning session at THB 19.80, increased THB 1.00 or 5.32%, the highest price was THB 20.50 and the lowest was THB 19.00, with the trading value of 303 million baht.

The Securities Exchange of Thailand (SET), recently, extended the cash balance measure starting from January 25, 2023 to February 14, 2023.

 

Mr. Sithidej Mayalarp, Chief Executive Officer of SKY, said earlier that rising share price could be due to speculation from investors, expecting the company will grow by surging tourism. As the reopening of China on January 8, 2023 could increase the number of tourists in all airports, and SKY would also gain benefit from tourist arrivals.

In addition, SKY prepared for bidding projects of public and private sectors, with a total value of billions of baht that could strengthen the company and its growth in the future. At the end of Q3/22 the company had a total baglog of 22,800 million baht.

 

SKY has cooperated with AOT, opening SAWASDEE by AOT application to transform Thai traveling as Thailand Travel Super App, expected performance of Q4/22 would continue to increase.

The end of 2022 was the high season of traveling, average passengers were 150,000 per day, increased from last year at 110,000 per day that resulted in the project relevant to the airports to gain revenue by nearly 30% QoQ.
