SISB reported a net income of THB 237.76 million in 1Q25, an increase from THB 211.92 million or 12.19% YoY with a net profit margin at 37.45%. The increase in net profit was due to the increase in the total revenues and most administrative expenses of the company are fixed.
The company’s total revenue for 1Q25 was THB 634.88 million, an increase by THB 62.83 million, or 10.98% YoY, from 1Q24’s revenue of THB 572.05 million. It consists of revenue from sales and services and the other income.
- Revenue from sales and services was THB 624.27 million, an increase by THB 63.36 million, or 11.30% YoY, from 1Q24’s revenue of THB 560.91million.
- This mainly came from a higher number of students both Thai students and foreign students and an increased tuition fee of AY 2024/2025.
- The revenue consists of Tuition fees and services income and Education equipment income which accounted for 99.55% and 0.45%, respectively.
- Tuition fees and services income was THB 621.43 million.
- Education equipment income was THB 2.84 million.
- The other income was THB 10.61 million, an increase by THB 0.53 million, or 4.76% YoY, from 1Q24’s income of THB 11.14 million.
SISB’s costs and expenses consist of tuition and services cost, administrative expenses and finance costs. If excluding the finance costs, the total costs and expenses for 1Q25 would be THB 403.71 million, which accounted for 63.59% of total revenue.
- Tuition and services cost was THB 282.37, increasing by THB 30.79 million, or 12.24% YoY from 1Q24’s cost of THB 251.58 million.
- They were the major component of the company’s total cost.
- The costs consisted of the cost of education and the cost of building management.
- Administrative expenses were THB 121.34 million, an increase by THB 10.31 million, or 9.29% YoY, from 1Q24’s expenses of THB 111.03 million.
- The expenses consisted of employee-related expenses which amounted to THB 92.69 million.
- Administrative expenses to total revenue decreased from 19.41% in 1Q24 to 19.11% in 1Q25, due to an increase in total revenue while most of the administrative expenses were fixed costs.
The total number of students across SISB’s six schools for 1Q25 is 4,607 students, an increase by 329 students from 1Q24’s figure of 4,278 students.
- There are 3,283 Thai students, or 71.3% of total.
- The remaining 1,324 are foreign students, or 28.7% of total.
