Despite the recent standoff between YouTube and Fox, the two companies have reached an agreement that allows Fox Channels to continue broadcast on YouTube TV. The details of the agreement, however, were not disclosed.
Back on Monday, YouTube announced that Fox was requesting for higher payment that far greater than other companies that provide similar content received. It came after Fox launched its own direct-to-consumer (DTC) service, Fox One, at the charging price of USD 19.99 per month or USD 199.99 per year.
The two companies then enter a negotiation, but YouTube warned that if they cannot find an agreement within Wednesday at 5 p.m. ET, the company may remove Fox Broadcast Network, Fox News and Fox Sports from its channel.
Fox contributed to YouTube TV significantly as the company broadcast famous sports shows that attract a mass audience, such as Major League Baseball games, including World Series, and National Football League games.
