Chuwit Jungtanasomboon, Chief Executive Officer of North East Rubber Public Company Limited (SET: NER), revealed to “Kaohoon” that the sales volume of rubber in Q4/2025 is expected to be around 110,000-120,000 tons will remain relatively strong with pending order stretching into next year.
The forecast sales volume for the final quarter of this year is close to the previous quarter as the current production capacity is being maintained. However, it will increase from the same period last year thanks to the addition of new customers. Rubber selling prices will also be higher than in Q3/2025, which was the lowest price period of this year.
Currently, the company has pending orders stretching into February 2026, with 75% of sales coming from the domestic market and 25% from overseas, specifically from two main countries: China and Singapore. Additionally, orders from India are expected to gradually increase from Q4/2025 onwards, due to a recent shift from short-term to long-term rubber purchase contracts.
Therefore, NER is confident that its overall performance in 2025 will push rubber sales volumes to 470,000 tons, up from 440,000 tons in 2024, translating into total sales revenue of 31,000-32,000 million baht, an increase from 27,000 million baht in 2024.
Furthermore, the company has allocated an investment budget of approximately 2,000 million baht for the construction of a new, third factory, with an additional annual production capacity of 320,000 tons. This will raise total production capacity from the current 515,000 tons per year to 835,000 tons per year. The construction is expected to commence in Q4/2025, trial operation is set for Q3/2026, and commercial operation with revenue recognition will begin immediately in Q4/2026. Sales volumes in 2026 are projected to increase to 500,000 tons, with sales revenue expected to exceed 32,000 million baht.
