Rangsun Puangprang, Assistant Managing Director of PTG Energy Public Company Limited (SET: PTG), stated that the business growth target for the oil business in 2026 aims for oil sales volume to reach 7 billion liters, approximately 5-10% from 2025. Revenue is expected to grow in the same direction, in line with the previous average of about 10%.
Currently, the company ranks third in market share (22%) and aims to regain the second spot in the future. This year, PTG also plans to open no fewer than 20 new service stations and refurbish about 50-60 existing branches to modernize their image, enabling competitiveness and appealing to the younger generation.
Meanwhile, the company is emphasizing the expansion of its non-oil business group because oil marketing margins are regulated by the government and highly volatile, with current oil marketing margins averaging no more than THB 2 per liter, up from THB 1.2 per liter last year.
Non-oil businesses yield a margin greater than 20%. PTG plans to expand its Punthai Coffee outlets by at least 800 branches, increasing total branches to 2,000. Furthermore, preparations are underway to list the Punthai Coffee business on the Stock Exchange of Thailand between 2027 and 2028. The company is currently restructuring its organization and operational systems to meet the standards required by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
As for the Autobacs automotive service centers, the company aims to open 50 additional branches this year, up from the existing 20 locations.
Regarding its membership system, PTG targets to expand its member base to 30 million within 1-2 years, up from the current 27 million. Normally, members increase by 1.8-2 million per year. The company encourages members to use its app and engage within the brand’s ecosystem under the concept “Happy Living.”
For the total investment budget (CAPEX), PTG has planned an investment of about THB 3.5-4 billion in 2026, divided as follows: 1) Non-Oil businesses have an allocated budget of THB 1.5-2 billion, which includes expansion of Punthai Coffee outlets and maintenance service centers; and 2) Oil business (service stations) is budgeted at about THB 1 billion for opening new branches and refurbishing existing ones.
Pitak Ratchakitprakarn, Chief Executive Officer & Managing Director, said that PTG is one of the organizations that consistently supports athletes. This time, PTG recognizes the dedication and talent in golf of Atthaya Thitikul (Jeeno), the world’s No. 1 female professional golfer.
Jeeno’s success brings international recognition to Thailand and also reflects discipline and an ongoing commitment to self-improvement, which aligns with PTG’s core values of “Service with Heart” to deliver positive experiences and happiness to customers in all dimensions.
The company extends its encouragement to Jeeno and aims to inspire all Thai people with perseverance and determination toward achievable success. PTG strives to develop its business alongside supporting role models to achieve sustainable growth with everyone.
