Dr. Nuttanai Anuntarumporn, Chief Executive Officer of Interlink Telecom Public Company Limited (SET: ITEL), stated regarding the company’s business direction for 2026, noting that ITEL continues to pursue steady growth. Currently, the company holds a revenue backlog of THB 2.2 billion, stemming from both public and private sector contracts. It is expected that about 40% of this amount will be recognized as revenue within this year, with the rest being recognized in the following year.
For the 2026 operating outlook, the company anticipates significant growth, projecting total revenue to reach THB 3.5 billion—a 10-15% increase—driven by several important factors. One main driver is participation in the Universal Service Obligation Phase 3 (USO 3) projects from the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC), which will be a key factor boosting revenue and profit in 2026.
Meanwhile, ITEL sees growth opportunities in the defense industry and is awaiting contract signing for a THB-99-million microwave system project for the Royal Thai Armed Forces Headquarters to be used in communications, radar, and strategic area detection systems. Additionally, the company has experience in drone and anti-drone projects, which are currently in high demand.
Besides its domestic market expansion plans, a key component likely to propel ITEL toward exponential growth is the establishment of “ITEL Global” in collaboration with SEAX, a major submarine cable operator from Singapore. This partnership will strengthen ITEL’s financial and customer base, elevating capabilities from domestic network services to becoming a regional player.
This strategic alliance is seen as opening new “New S-Curve” markets, enabling immense revenue generation from multinational clients establishing large-scale data centers in Thailand. It is anticipated that results will start to be visible in 3Q of this year, with services provided to at least 1-2 Hyperscaler clients. ITEL also forecasted that the outcome will likely increase the proportion of overseas revenue from 5% to 15%.
“In 2026, the digital world will advance further, with hybrid work and huge data usage, making ITEL’s role not only that of a network provider but as a creator of critical infrastructure—central to daily life and the nation’s economy. Our role is to ensure everything ‘keeps moving forward’ no matter how fast the world changes,” Dr. Nuttanai concluded.
